Trick or Treat is the fifth episode of the first season of The New Worst Witch. It was preceded by No Place Like Home, and followed by Truth or Lies.
Plot[]
It is Halloween and Hettie, Mona, and Cressie have been selected by Miss Nightingale to sing to the Grand Wizard. It turns out, the Grand Wizard is ill, so his place is taken by his new 'Master of Magical Artifacts', wizard author Richard Avalon. Hettie gets into trouble while trying to prove a point and is replaced by Belladonna to sing in the ceremony. He soon manages to impress the whole school, and especially Miss Hardbroom, with his devilish charm and wizard coffee bean magic, but Hettie's not falling for it for a moment. She thinks Avalon is up to no good and has a very suspect interest in the Academy's precious 'Foxglove Harebell's' casket. Is Avalon planning to steal from the school, or has Hettie got the wrong end of the broomstick again?
